hi everyone! we've seen a few reports of a purple startup screen with patch 2.2 we've put a lot of time into this patch and hoped it would improve the situation for everyone. because we made quite a few changes (also trying to fix the infamous "black screen" bug) we released the patch as a beta-branch first. as far as i know, we didn't get any purple-screen reports. so this is very painful for everyone -- sorry for causing these issues! we now need to find a way to help you guys.
